Some very important facts to know about hair extensions...

* After receiving a Great Lengths Hair Extension service, you cannot shampoo for 2 days

* Always wash your hair with your head back and not tilted forward

* Never dry your hair with a scrubbing action, instead wrap with a towel to absorb water (always dry bonds to prevent bond break-down)

* Always use Anti-Tap (take-home product included in the service) after hair has been wet

* Brush your hair 3 times/day (take-home brush included in the service). Brush row by row, scalp to ends, starting from nape up. 

* Always pull extensions into a "scrunchy" while sleeping or any activity that has your hair blowing in the wind

* Curling irons, flat irons, and hot rollers may be used, but MUST be kept an adequate distance from Great Lengths bond (approximately 1 1/2 inches from the bond)

* Need to return to salon 2 weeks after initial service for a Check-up (included in cost of the service)

* Activities taking place in a constant damp environment, such as aerobics, steam baths or saunas may lessen the longevity of the Great Lengths service. Precautions should be taken to avoid these conditions being repeated

* Seawater and pools can cause bond breakdown due to the constant damp environment. To minimize these effects, wet hair completely in a shower and apply Anti-Tap prior to swimming. After swimming, shampoo, apply Anti-Tap and blow-dry the bonds to prevent bond break-down

* Extension loss is normal and to be expected. Average client hair loss is approximately 50-150 hairs/day. A full head application covers about 1/3 of the head. You can expect to see a small quantity of naturally released hairs trapped in attachments (bonds) after some time. This is normal and should not be interpreted as hairs being pulled out of the scalp by the extensions themselves. Daily brushing close to the scalp and finger separation of the applied strands will avoid matting in this area.

During the consultation, we will give you a great indication if you would be an appropriate candidate for the service, as well as answer any questions you may have. Please note that in order to schedule a Great Lengths Hair Extension service, we do require a 50% deposit.

No Show Policy

• A client may NO SHOW for a scheduled appointment 3 times
  
• After the 3rd time, R7S will need a credit card on file and a client will be charged 50% of their overall estimated service scheduled
