What is Q8? Q8 is a thermal reconditioning technique that originated in Japan to make curly, wavy, or frizzy hair straight. Q8's Nutri-Straight
is a straightening system that was developed to permanently straighten hair without damage, resulting in soft, shiny and healthy hair. The end result is not only perfectly straight hair, but also a glossy, smooth, and silky finish that is healthier than before. Q8's special ingredients penetrate the cortex layer of the hair and break down the cells to re-configure curly strands of hair to straight.

How long does my hair have to be in order to perform this process? Your hair must be at least 3 inches in length.

How long does the service last? Q8 is a permanent service. The hair will remain straight until it grows out. New re-growth generally needs to be retouched anywhere from 2 months to one year, it completely depends on your growth pattern.

How long is the process? Approximately 4-7 hours. Timing on the process is completely based on the length and condition of the hair.

How long do I wait before shampooing my hair? 72 hours.

Do I need to avoid all types of moisture for 72 hours? Yes. This includes water from showering, persperation (working out), steam rooms,
hot tubs, or walking in the rain.

Do I need to schedule a consultation prior to the service being done?
