Located on the second floor of a vintage three flat at 210 West Kinzie the salon itself is quaint and charming. The walls of RED 7 are painted in warm tones that conjure up a fashionable friend's stylish pad rather then the crisp minimalist look favored by many a downtown salon.

At RED 7 it's all about hair! They cut, color and style as well as offering popular treatments such as Thermal Reconditioning and hair extensions. Additional services include makeup application and brow shaping (via tweezing). RED 7 is the destination for many a bride-to-be; offering makeup and hair packages offsite as well as at the salon.

I booked an appointment on a busy Friday afternoon with David. During my visit David's talent and warmth, as well as the hospitality of the entire RED 7 team, impressed me. Don't let the laid back setting fool you, Chicago's creme de la creme are among those fortunate enough to be colored and coiffed at RED 7 SALON.
